Old English Bulldog Puppy Purchase Policy
There are several ways to purchase a puppy from Olde South. We welcome visitors to view our puppies, meet the adult dogs, and tour our facility with an appointment. Buyers are welcome to place a $500 deposit on any puppy that is available to hold that puppy until their release day. We will provide no more than 3 photos/video to the buyer while awaiting the puppy’s release day. I am not able to take weekly photos or video as we are always assisting many buyers at one time and often have multiple puppies of various ages to care for. Buyers can visit their puppy up to 2 times with an appointment after they have put down a deposit prior to the puppy release day. All pups must be picked or shipped when they are 8 weeks old. We can keep a puppy for a buyer up to 7 days after their 8 week birthday at no charge. Boarding at $11 a day is charged to the buyer after the 7 day grace period.
If the puppy is over 8 weeks old the buyers is able to take the puppy home on the day of the visit as we have current health certificates on all available pups. Final payment is due when the puppy is picked up from our facility. We are able to meet a customer part way. I will drive 100 miles free of charge provided the buyer has given a deposit. If you are not driving distance to our facility. We can send multiple photos and arrange shipping anywhere in the US.
Pick of the litter is offered to as an option to buyers on every litter. First pick and second pick deposit is $300. I begin accepting pick of the litter deposits once pregnancy is confirmed by ultra sound at 30 days gestation. I notify the buyer 24 hours after the puppies have arrived and send photos of the puppies at 4 days of age. The buyer has 24 hours to select a puppy or forfeit their choice. The buyer is welcome to come view the pups in their 24 hour window and make their selection in person. If the buyer fails to select a puppy the photos are sent to the buyer with second pick of the litter. Selected pups are held for the buyer until pick up or shipping day at 8 weeks of age. The balance is due at pick up. Once pups reach 7 days of age they are put on the market. I sell the available pups on a first come first serve basis. The pick of the litter deposit allows the buyer to choose a puppy before they are put on the market. Puppies are not held for any buyer with out a deposit . A buyer can switch their deposit 1 time before the litter reaches 6 weeks of age. All deposits can be applied to the purchase of any puppy up to 2 years after receipt. Breeder reserves the right to choose pups for the breeding program before any first pick option.
