What will my Olde English Bulldogge puppies need in their new home??
At Olde South we feed Canidae dog food. You can purchase it at Pet Supermarket. I only recommend their food and their treats. Check out their website at www.canidae.com. Your Olde English Bulldogge puppies will need a large size crate to accommodate up to 70lbs. Purchase the plastic travel crate from Wal-Mart. They have the best price. I use only old towels as bedding in the crate and wash them often. He will tear up a soft dog bed. Don’t waste your money. You can give him an old blanket as a bed outside the crate. He needs indestructible toys. No stuffed animals or squeaky toys that small pieces can be torn off of. I like the small tire toys with the rope attached. You can also get these at Wal-Mart. I use stainless steel food and water pans. They are easy to wash and won’t harbor bacteria. He can have a nylon collar as he grows but once he is 6 months old I recommend a leather collar with brass fittings. The leather collar will hold up the best. You can use a harness for leading your Olde English Bulldogge puppies but I recommend you keep a collar on too. It gives you more leverage and control. You have very little leverage with a harness. I have never used a harness. I am old school. I highly recommend you take him to a puppy training at pet smart or a vets office that offers a basic class for a reasonable price. Olde English bulldogge puppies are very easy to train and the sooner you start the better.
