The costs involved in this business can be enormous. My dog food bill is always more per week than my grocery bill but feeding a very high quality holistic dog food is absolutely necessary to the success of your breeding program. We proudly feed Canidae. Giving heart guard for heart worms and comfortis for flea control monthly to 15 dogs is costly as well. There are always facility maintenance issues and repairs that can add up but having a top notch facility is essential. There is no way to successfully breed these dogs on a shoe string. I don’t have to elaborate on how rewarding it is to breed Olde English bulldogges puppies, everyone gets that. It’s all the daily costs, hours of dedication, and blood sweat and tears required that causes those not prepared to fail.
