What Is a Pick of the Litter Deposit?
A pick of the litter deposit is a $500 payment that reserves your place in line to choose a puppy from an upcoming litter. Picks are ordered numerically—first pick, second pick, and so on. The earlier you pick, the more options you’ll have when it comes time to choose your new puppy.
This deposit is non-refundable; however, it will be applied toward the final price of the puppy. You can also transfer it to a future litter for up to two years if needed.
As we are a very active kennel, we can only contact families who have already placed a deposit. These clients are considered VIPs and receive all updates, birth notifications, and puppy photos.

Unlike casual breeders, we maintain a planned breeding schedule, post updates regularly on our homepage, and work only with the healthiest, most temperamentally stable adults. This careful process and strong reputation mean our litters fill up quickly.
We are often asked if families can wait to place a deposit until the puppies are a few weeks old. The short answer is: no. By that time, nearly all our Olde English Bulldogge puppies are already matched with families.
Your deposit guarantees that you are notified when pups are born and allows you to choose a puppy before any go on the market.
How the Pick Process Works
Here’s how our pick-of-the-litter system works:
- Submit your $500 deposit to reserve your place. This can be done securely via PayPal.
- Each litter offers picks one through four. These spots fill quickly.
- We notify families 24 hours after the puppies are born.
- Puppy photos are sent out when the pups are 9 days old.
- You have 48 hours to select your puppy from the available options. If you do not choose within that window, your pick is passed to the next family.
- Once selected, your puppy will be held for you until 8 weeks of age, at which time pickup or delivery will occur.
Note: because picks happen early, families choose based on gender, coat color, and Olde English Bulldogge temperament traits passed down from the parents, not on individual puppy behavior, which develops later.
Steps to Begin the Adoption Process

- Submit your $500 deposit securely via PayPal, and reserve your pick.
- Your deposit will apply to the final purchase price.
- If a puppy becomes available earlier and is not spoken for, you can choose to transfer your deposit to that puppy.

Pickup and Travel Options
We are happy to meet you at the Augusta, GA airport or Charlotte NC airport if you’re flying in to get your puppy. Many clients have flown home with their puppy on American or Delta airlines. We’ll walk you through the entire process and ensure a smooth handoff.
